Since moving back to Richmond in 2013, Matt and I have loved trying new restaurants that the city has to offer. We had big dreams to be young newlyweds living downtown and exploring the ins and outs of RVA. When his job took us to West Virginia, our first few years of marriage looked way different from what we had planned.
Coming ‘home’ with a 3 month old meant the exploring had to be done in more family friendly atmospheres (re: we weren’t frequenting hot night spots with fun bars and exciting nightlife). Equally as fun, and just as exciting (for a new Mom) are the opportunities to test out some delicious brunch spots around town.
Some of my favorites include CanCan, Tarrants, Max’s on Broad, Lunch and Supper, and the newest add to the list, The Quirk Hotel.
The atmosphere was unique, beautiful and very relaxing. The food was delicious and the service was great! It’s definitely a recommendation to anyone in the Richmond area. Bonus – try eating in the al fresco courtyard, or enjoying a drink on the rooftop bar!
Now to figure out how to leave the kids with Matt so I can get a night away here!
